Keep it off, turn raw input on, and uncheck 'Enhance Pointer Precision' in windows mouse options.

It will help you get more consistent twitch shots, and help your muscle memory. Also prevents skipping.

All acceleration off, because it's the most consistent option.

I played for a long time with acceleration as that felt more comfortable. I found it can work excellent, but it's harder to play consistent. My aim was off when my hand was moving slow on some days. The reverse also happened, aim being worse when adrenaline made me faster than normal.

Playing without acceleration, the days with crappy aim were a lot better, the days with perfect aim were still the same.

it is generally considered easier to build muscle memory with acceleration turned off because instead of having to worry about the velocity and distance you have to move your mouse, you only worry about distance. It creates less variables for you to **** up on. However there are invite level players that use acceleration. I think the reasoning for using acceleration is you can have a very low sensitivity for extreme precision, but if you need to do a 90 or 180 degree turn super quickly, you can do that much faster if you have acceleration on.

Acceleration can be good - in very specific situations, if you know EXACTLY what you are doing, and manually set up the acceleration curve.

EPP and sensor-level positive or negative acceleration or inconsistency is always bad.

Some PRO FPS players swear by it, insisting that you can predict acceleration so you can use it to your advantage - while others will say it is unbearable. Preferences really, in the competitive world of games there are many players who use laser mouses known to have acceleration.

In a BEST CASE, sensor level acceleration would be inferior to setting it in software/driver, because you have no choice in how it's set up; but the reality is much much worse, with it not so much being acceleration, but rather very often terrible inconsistency that averages out to a net positive effect. This is unarguably bad and undesirable
