Read the OCN Recommended (Headphones) still need help Budget $160ish

Increased my budget to $160. After buying Monster Ntunes and loving bass in my headphones I want something with some kick for gaming. Monster Ntunes are to small and tight for me, my ears are really sensitive to pressure and cause issues with glands in my earlobes.

So I'm looking for over the ear headphones that need to be:
Big with comfortable cushioning.
lightweight
Don't dig into the top of your head.
Able to make explosions sound awesome, have bass kick with gun fire, and will let me enjoy funky music. I listen to everything from Clapton, Beetles, Sublime, CarlCox, Classic Rock, Funk, Reggae, electronic, ect.

I want to be able to hear the cries of teenagers exploding all around me in BF4 while listening to the Clapton's awesomeness. I hope this helps, I'd like to order this weekend if there are awesome deals about.

You mean you want circumaural headphones? (fancy way of saying they completely cover the ears)
Beyerdynamics are known for having large enough earpads that leave your ears alone.

As you seem to have XtremeGamer soundcard the 250ohm headphones are kinda out of the question.
But it might be enough for DT770 Pro 80ohm.

Or the ATH-M50 which is on sale for 100$ in amazon atm.

But keep in mind that bassy headphones which are also good in gaming are very rare wink.gif

Yes circumaural, Even if I upgraded to a soundblaster Z I plug my headphones into a creative thing that's on connected to my speakers. How does this effect things? The thing seen dangling here

Thoughts on Sennheiser PX360, and the DT770 Pro in my price range is the 250 ohms. Not sure how those are compared to the 80's, much of a difference?

NO@PX360. Yes @ DT770 80 ohm. 250 ohms is okay if it's your only option.

Huge quality difference.
