need a new budget router - old one sucks

I have a netgear wnr2000 that I have had for probably 4-5 years now. Thing cant hold a wireless signal really anymore and its out of warranty. I have given up trouble shooting and just want to replace it. Budget is low, would like to keep it in the 30 dollar range. The only wireless it will be used for is streaming Netflix to my ps3, brothers cell phone wifi and moms kindle wifi. I don't do any online gaming on my ps3 so I am not worried about that, but I am sure if it can stream Netflix, it would be fine with games. My computer is hardwired.

I found this in an newegg deal, think it looks good for the price? The reviews seem favorable.

Another idea is I could re-buy what I have. Netgear has a lifetime warranty, but proof of purchase is required, and I don't have that for mine anyways, and I purchased it before they instituted it, but its only like 30 bucks for the router. It seems my routers last around 4-5 years before they crap out. So maybe getting another netgear would be best because of the warranty? That asus is only 2 years.

This is what I have now, but the old model.

The one you linked isn't a bad deal after rebate. It even supports DD-WRT tongue.gif

I don't envision you getting much better for $10

Ended up going with the asus. I bought newegss extended 3 year plan for 6 bucks. Figured 5 years of warranty, 18 bucks total for atleast 5 years of use isn't bad at all.
