680 SLI @ 1440p

Thread Starter
Would my 680s be able to handle a 1440p monitor? I'm thinking about getting a 1440p monitor, but I'm a little afraid of the performance drop. I currently can run bf4 maxed at a constant 60fps. If I did get the monitor, how much fps would I lose, and if I lower the settings would the game still look better?

Yes. GTX 680 SLI is basically equal to GTX 690 (or slightly faster depending on games). GTX 690 runs BF4 @ an average of 74fps at 1440p @ ultra | 2xMSAA.

Go here to see GTX 690 performance for BF4... http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gtx_780_ti_sli_geforce_review,17.html
You can Google GTX 680 SLI / GTX 690 comparisons to see that gaming performance is basically the same or barely different biggrin.gif
