Thinking about switching to this one for the extra Watts http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151119&Tpk=Seasonic%20G%20series%20550W%20Gold%20Modular

thats the one im using...been great so far. a lot of us guys picked the g series because cables run right under the vcard without any issues. some guys like the silverstone psu's because you can buy a short cable kit. i had no issues routing the cables with the g series. just zip tie them to the frame.

another trick is,you can mount the ssd under the front cover of the node. have you decided on a cooler yet?

Cooler not yet decided.

I may end up going stock for about a month, just to leave a bit more in the budget for other things.

Thinking about one of those Corsair H series coolers.

good choice. something like the h60-h90 will give you lots of extra room in there for the hdd cages. i might take this route myself on my next node build.

Antec Khuler flow is a double tower 4 pipe selling for under $30 on amazon atm. Not sure of it's ratings but if you're thinking about air still it might be a good buy
