Ok so im very new to the overclocking scene...

I have overclocked my amd 3500+ to 2.8ghz from 2.2ghz completely stable, but once i hit 2.9ghz and over windows blue screens...so im wondering if there is anything i can do to get my clock higher or is 2.8ghz a good over clock?

fill in your system specs in your user cp

also, what codename is your cpu?
and what voltages are you running at?

power supply should be 480 watt (minimum) pure power to overclock. when BSOD appears again, u should check cpu temp, maybe too hot.

if you got 2.8 GHz stable on a s939 venice 3500+ then you should be happy. some of them can get to 3.0 GHz, but i've seen other 3500+'s not even able to get up to 2.6 GHz.

have you ran any tests with it to make sure it was stable, or just bootable?
