I crammed an H100i into a Rosewill Challenger...

    Yes, but watch those fans!

So a little back story on why I did this. I originally built my desktop with an H70 a year and a half ago. It was working just fine until a few weeks ago, when my college roommate accidentally spilled water on my desktop, damaging the pump and frying the fan headers on the H70. My roommate felt bad and ordered me an H100i. Luckily I turned off my psu about 2 seconds after the water was spilled on it, so the only thing the liquid damaged was the liquid cooler... ironically. This setup is only temporary since my brother bought me a Phantom 410 for Christmas, so come Christmas morning, this setup will be no more. I wouldn't recommend this setup, but it works.

If you're wondering how much clearance I have between my 660 ti and the radiator.

I have the system i5 2500k clocked at 4.5Ghz right now, but I'm trying to push it to 5Ghz. I think I'll wait until I get my Phantom for that though. If you're not familiar with the Challenger, it's a decent $50 case that is NOT designed to fit a dual rad cooler in it. The side is the only area on the case I could mount it, and I was sick of using that piece of crap stock Intel cooler. If you guys have any questions at all, feel free to ask. Like I said though, this is just temporary.

Hey, I am attempting to do the same build as you! (Case and Water cooler)
I have one question, in the pictures you have the two fans to push air into the case through the radiator.
Did you switch the two top inside fans to pull air instead of push or did you take them out intriely? Thanks smile.gif

The two fans on the side push air into the case, through the radiator, and I then added a fan pulling air out from the top back 120mm fan mount. I will say though that the rear mounting bracket that comes with the h100i is complete trash. I switched it out with my old h70 rear bracket, and my idle temps went from 35C to about 30C.

I have the same case and I want to get H100i with the Corsair bracket for my GTX 780 Ti. My CPU is cooled by Cooler Master 212 EVO, which prevents H100i from being installed the way OP did it due to CPU cooler being in the way... Can't I install H100i on the OUTSIDE of the side door/panel? But then how would I get the actual cooler inside the case... There are cooler holes on this case, but they are located in the rear. GPU is located further down than CPU, which probably make the GPU unreachable for H100i... Damn... Maybe I could just cut out 2 holes in the side-door/panel?

You would get very good results with a single 120mm unit too, just use it at the back slot and create a nice little wind tunnel together with the Hyper 212 EVO. Just look at the R9 295X2 to see how well water cooling works on GPUs (much better than on CPUs) and you know you'll be fine.

I'll advice you turn that side panel fan to an exhaust fan, and the rear fan as an intake fan. The hot air from your rad blowing directly on the GPU is a really bad idea for gaming. Your sig says you have a Kraken G10 and H55 on your GPU, but the photos show otherwise. Is this a different rig?

This is also extremely old lol. I don't have this case anymore, I have a Phantom 410 now.

I just want to push it as far as I can without going full WC, so if it is possible, I'd go with H100i. It all depends on the difference between H100i and H60i. If its like 10C, then that is big enough difference for me to go with H100i. I really want sub-50C temps!
