Recently Put Together A New Build, Having Some Issues With the RAM

So, everything works fine, but one issue I've had is that when I try to put in my 2nd 4gb memory card and then try to start the pc it just turns on for a second, then turns off, and repeats that until I switch off the psu. I don't understand how to fix it, I have x64 installed and everything else works fine. I have used both and they both work fine, but when i put them in at the same time, everything goes to ****. I'm using 2x 4gb Corsair Vengeance.

Thanks for any help!

I would try to put in one stick at a time and use something like a Ubuntu Live CD and test each RAM stick to make sure that you do not have any bad Ram sticks. Some more information would be great in helping you. What Motherboard and CPU are you using and exact specs on the RAM you are putting into it ?
