Future of nvidia cards question

Thread Starter
Fairly noobish and have a few general questions regarding the future of graphic cards..

So when I look back at the 200's series, to the 400s, 500s, 600s, and 700s, I have a hard time determining which change rendered the biggest graphics improvements (aside from heat/power/noise improvements). I guess it's hard to say because games themselves during those changes help determine which series was able to show its self off best.

Going forward, Maxwell and Volta are said to have specific changes aside from the standard improvements. Maxwell will have an integrated arm CPU, and Volta May feature stacked DRAM.

So my questions are how will these two new features improve graphics and which of the two will create the biggest increase in graphic performance?

Thanks!

fair enough but is it possible to answer in terms of mechanics of how an integrated arm CPU or stacked DRAM would help the next gen of vid cards?
