3TB Seagate Barracuda vs 2TB WD Black

Thread Starter
trying to decide between the two. mostly used for storage, maybe some light program usage. seagate 3TB is $100, WD Black is $110

its my understanding that for the WD blacks more of what you're paying for is the longer warranty. but i've also read some bad things about the barracuda's reliability.

what do you guys think?

I personally think that you will be all set with whichever drive you choose.

If 2 tb is plenty for you then I would get the wd black.
