Excellent news all! Being the complete noob that I am I never really took out the CMOS battery on the first attempt. On the second attempt, I was able to detach it completely from its socket. I also turned off the power supply and took out the power cord for a good minute. A couple of things: I got a new screen which says my BIOS settings has been reset and my GPU, ram and all my input devices were being detected. Once again, the screen said press F1 or F2 for the same options. Unfortunately they still didn't work so I thought that my mechanical keyboard was the problem. Nope. I took my dads standard issue Dell keyboard and plugged it into both USB 3.0 and 2.0 slots but nothing happened. Distraught, I decided to unplug both my mouse and all keyboard devices to see if the same screen would detect that there was no mouse or keyboard inputs. BAM. I was hit the windows logo. Just opened up MSI Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and all my settings have been reset. Now the question is should I continue overclocking? I don't absolutely NEED it but at the same time I bought this rig for the purpose of overclocking.
HUGE thanks to everyone that helped.
