Albatron AGP7800GS

What do you guys think about this card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814170097

I was gonna get:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143046

but the rebate is no only being offered for the Albatron card. I don't know anything about Albatron and was wondering if you guys had any advice. I am stuck with AGP and bought a 7600GS but I can get the 7800GS for only $30 more after rebate. Wish I would have returned it sooner and gotten the BFG Tech while it had the rebate as I am familiar with the brand. Any info is appreciated, thank you.

Albatron are known for having poor cards and bad overclocking capabilities. It will most likely perform pretty well but dont expect amazing performance from an Albatron. But it still will be better than any 7600GS so I say go for it.

Excuse ME!
In the day there 6600GT AGP was the best OCer PERIOD!
They made good stuff, my 6600GT Alby is still working 100% fine!

Perhaps that perticular card is not the best OCer and if that is so give up some referances on that PLEASE!

BTW, that is a good deal even if it's not the best OCer!

Sorry if I was harsh

Albatron use to give up products for reviews but they seem to have gotten cheep about that and I couldn't find any reviews on that one.

Whatever brand it is.. its still a 7800gs... I think what whitemike means is does anybody have experience with Albartron's mail in rebates. I'm interested in this too so if anybody does it would help me too.

I was mainly concerned with the Quality of the Albatron, I know they used to make good cards and was wondering how there 7800's were for AGP. Thanks for the input guys.

Quality wise its fine, just overclocking is something Altabarton isnt for. if overclocking isnt a issue, go for it.
