Not sure what happened. Weird boot up.

I'm not sure where this belongs, but I'll post it here. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my hardware, or just a random occurrence with windows, or what. I apologize if this is the wrong section.

I booted up my PC, and I have an SSD so it boots up very quickly. This time, I turned my PC on after having it off overnight, and it didn't boot up as quickly as before. It was at a black screen for about 30 seconds to a minute, and when I got to the desktop, my mouse, keyboard and USB thumb drive did not work, until I unplugged and plugged them back in. My mouse was light up like it had power and was plugged in, but I could not move the cursor until I unplugged and plugged it back in. Windows recognized I had a thumb driver plugged in, but I was just a generic "removable media" in the list of drives, and had no information on the size of the drive, or anything.

Is this the USB issue haswell supposedly has? I was just wondering about why it took so long to boot up, it was strange. I've never had it sit at a black screen like that. My PC was completely shut down over night.

I was just worried it has to do with a virus or some such. But I couldn't find anything with BitDefender or Malwarebytes. I also tried some boot time scans I installed to my USB. Every came back clean.

What version of window are you using? Did you verify if your OS is fine?

Windows 7. Nothing seems strange except for the one time. Just wondering if anyone else has seen it, and what causes it.
