phenom 1045t looking to upgrade mobo and ram.

Its been a long time since I've done any upgrades to my rig and I figure I could put a few bucks into it and keep it a little more up to date. I know its not going to be the best or even close but I'm hoping you guys can give me some suggestions on where would be the best place to put my money on upgrading my motherboard and ram.
I've been looking over a lot of the new mobos and really don't know what's going to be the best choice for the setup I currently have, I appreciate the help in advance.

Are you looking for just motherboard and ram as set? What is your pc currently run on now? Also what is your OS, in case.

These two motherboards have good overclocking abilities.

GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P:

ASUS M5A97 R2.0:

This ram will perform well with your 1045T.

Great thanks guys, ill take a look at those suggestions, I've been told with my current mobo, the vrm is too outdated and weak to try and overclock. Also what do you guys think in terms of this little psu I'm currently running? I've calculated it using the powersupply calcs but its still cutting It close it seems.

There's a good thread with a list of recommended power supplies here.

Depending on what features you want these are probably the best options.

SeaSonic M12II 520W (80 Plus bronze, modular)

Rosewill CAPSTONE-550W (80 Plus gold, non-modular)
