90 degree 5.25 bays?

I'm not sure if this is even the proper place to put this. I'm looking for a case that has the 5.25 bays coming out of the side panel, in my mine it would be the left side panel with a window. I'm sure there is a case out there that exists like that but for the life of me i can't find it. I would assume that since people like windows to show of their hard work that they would have that side facing the room, so seems like common sense that you would want the power button reset, ODD drives and so on coming out the side, anyone have any ideas?

That layout is essentially what i'm looking for, what case is that. The rest of the case doesn't do anything for me but it's a starting place!

yah it's lanboy air. it's basically the lego version of computer cases biggrin.gif very flexible, good cooling, but not really the best looking case smile.gif unfortunately there aren't too many side mounted 5.25 cases out there. there is the lian li mATX cases

and i believe once upon a time there was a thermaltake unit that was like that also. it's been too long and i don't really care to look it up tongue.gif but as far as modern day cases, lanboy air can easily be installed with side mounted 5.25 bay. there is also the custom jobs that have side mounted bays, but those cost a ton of cash. not really "production" type cases.

I want to thank you for the responses, gives me some options. The lanboy air has apparently been discontinued but i'm sure i could still find it. Does anyone have other\better options? At this point I'll likely have to make a case from scratch(not anytime soon) to get exactly what i'm looking for

if you want inspiration for your own custom case, you can always take a look at murderbox.

personally, I'd start with a FT02 chassis then just go nuts from there. the rotated mobo design on the FT02 simply looks good as you can see here
