I've always wondered the same thing, but now you've inspired me to try it. I'll install and let you know some results.

Well, I'm trying it right now. I see about a 10FPS difference in CS. Quite a big difference if you ask me. Only think I dont like is you can't switch back to Windows Shell by the touch of a button.

Edit: This is my 256th post. 256 Ram lol anyway..

I'm seeing about the same thing after some benchies. A triple run of AM3 is showing around 300 extra points when using GameOS over the standard Windows shell. I actualy don't mind the look too much, I'm a minimalistic UI kind of guy.

Back in a while with some BF2 results....

It's not bad. I think I got + 15-25 fps in css. Not bad at all.

Sry edit. More like 10-15 fps.
