Well, sort of a mini update I suppose. Decided to go with a DimasTech test bench, the Easy V3.0 in graphite black to be specific. Will be purchasing it soon, probably Friday.

In other news, been fighting with my new monitor I got to get working with my computer. It is a 27" Cinema Display. You can read about the saga here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1451082/new-cinema-display-w-windows-7-ultimate-x64

It won't be happening for quite some time!

Updated first post. Basically, I traded my Z77 setup to derickwm for his Z9 and some RAM. No CPUs but meh, good deal in my opinion. I really want a dual processor system for rendering and 3D design work, plus something that can destroy video file format conversion. I'm talking about ripping through a 2 hour movie in like 10 minutes. Plus, I was rendering a 5 minute video (~8,000 frames) over summer using my i7 3770k and I was going on 3 full days of rendering and I was about half way through, will be nice to cut that down. My typical scenes aren't that complicated, just somewhat long videos. Will be nice to render 30 second videos in about an hour compared to several with my 3770k.

Anyways, this build won't be happening for a bit, but it will happen. Have to complete Compact Copper first.
