Well, they released it at the end of october, early november in a state that could barely qualify as "beta" . Now, there's second assault and china rising on the Xbox and PC premium (PS4? too) DLC already. Disgusting.
What's it now? 5 years of working with frostbite? And still they can't put together a normal playable game on release day but DLC isn't a problem. They even "extended the battlefield" by opening DICE LA ... Treyarch - Infinity Ward anyone?

Most games release as a broken mess these days. At least BF4 isn't in as bad a state as Rome 2 is, it's been out 3 months and it is still a broken mess.
The worst thing that can happen is, when devs release a broken mess, not only do they not fix it, but they disappear and wipe their hands clean of the game making no comments or announcements about it. At least DICE have said they're going to fix BF4, whether they do or not...time will tell...
Rome II has seen big improvements IMHO. And I can actually play it
. Sure the AI is pretty crap and the game was overhyped but I haven't regretted my purchase unlike BF4 . They even gave the nomad tribes away for free.
And I'm not sure what we should be happy about here? They said they are going to fix it? Well duh ... they better.Edited by Bloitz - 12/5/13 at 3:37am
