Thread Starter
Which should i buy the 3700+ San Diego 1MB Cache or the 3800+ Venice with 512KB Cache the 3800+ has the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro and the 3700+ San diego has stock cooling which would be best for overclocking

The 3700 SD will out overclock the 3800 Venice. Plain and simple. Also the 3700 has a full meg of L2 cache vs the 3800's 512K of L2 cache.

Depends on your stepping. You can get the dreaded CABGE and get a very small overclock, or get the awesome KACAE and hit 3GHz.
I have an 3700 that I dont use anymore. Cant remember what stepping it is but it hit 2.8 fine on air. pm if your interested
