I see my motherboard is a PTGD1-LA...

on an hp 1019h.

its nothing great but with a program I want to run, I would like dual monitors. would this support that in any way? great graphics not too important. I am not a gamer. I went to ebay and man oh man are there alot to choose from. WHAT CARD SHOULD I GET?

while i'm add it what ram should i get?

as you can tell not good with the puters when it comes to whats under the hood. also noone around here (to include the one store can help me)

Umm, the motherboard will only support 1 monitor. What's your budget for your graphics card, and your memory?

i don't even know if thats my motherboard, just that others say hp used that in my setup. also some in my control panel it says gma graphic and express chipset family. whats this all mean? i can't find motherboard name.

gma graphics means it's an integrated chip instead of an actual card. Just figure out what kinda slot you have for graphics, and buy a card off newegg for that slot...any new series will support dual monitors..

ya um can you explain what you just said to me. chip not card, but go get card? some are saying my mobo won't support, not true?

anyway shell is off pc what am i looking for?
