wednesday most likely, but i might do it tomorrow because im sick of air cooling this thing already lol.

if you are air cooling or water cooling just get the regular classy card, the volts you need for the kingpin to go higher will require sub ambient cooling such as phase change or nitrogen, so gotta factor that in. unless you live in a place where the ambient temps are roughly -5c 24/7 at all times lol.

i would grab a 780 classy for sure unless i could get my hands on some LN2.

I didnt even realize that but you're totally right. I more would rather have cooler temps than insane voltage anyway. I just now submitted my order for the classy on their website since i got notified 30 minutes ago it was in stock again smile.gif

Also, have you taken the cooler off your card yet?

Im going to put mine under a kraken x40 clc first because i dont have quite the money for a water loop yet. We should compare temps @ stock clock because i'd be interested to see if a clc can get even half the performance of water cooling.

I have this feeling kingpin is going to be an extremely limited run card.

those threaded acrylic links look leak prone.

time to go straight to EK if Fcpu is giving you the shove.

If you didn't like how your Classy overclocks, you can still return it, and buy another one from newegg and try your luck there.

yeah kingpin might be hard to get a hold of.

FCPU actually just shipped the replacement off not even 5 minutes ago lol, i was about ready to say screw it since that part of the block is not visible once in the build anyways, and i used some acrylic bonding glue to cold weld that piece back in place anyways so i would have to pretty much hit it with a hammer to break it again.

Hell, i'm still waiting on EK to respond to my RMA. I foolishly didn't chose to elevate the claim. Left it @ low. I didn't think it would actually make a difference. Sounds like they don't even replace the entire block, but just the plate, which if that's true I need new O-rings, as the originals look like they have been dipped in acid-free corrosion. biggrin.gif
