Question about the Wii friend codes.

Thread Starter
Me and a friend are planning to get Wii's at the end of the month, and we're just wondering, what exactly do the friend codes enable us to do once we've added eachother?

Thanks in advance.

I can't wait to get the Wii.

Wii codes allow you to send Mii's to eachother, as well as sending messages. It will also allow you to use the "Mii Parade" which basically lets other peoples Miis come parade around on your system while the systems are not in use. It allows the Miis to "mingle". Its interesting stuff, I have a friend that sent me 8 Mii's afew days ago. Anyways, got any other questions be sure to post em, the Wii is awesome!

PS. Later on it will allow you to game with your friends!

Wow, thanks for the fast reply!!

I also heard it was possible to picture share with the Wii, is this true?

I'm also wondering what type of adapters I will need to hook the Wii up to my monitor to take with me to LAN parties.

It sure is possible to share pictures with the Wii! Its called the Wii Message board, you can post pictures and people with your friend code can look at them! Anyways when it comes to adapters, what kind of inputs does your monitor have? If it has a component input you can just use one of those.

Heh, when I said I wasnt knowledgeable about this I wasnt kidding. I just read the specs of your monitor again and it says for analog it has RGB connections, I *think* you could use these to hook up your Wii, unfortunately I am not 100% sure.
