So the parts list first:

Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 180mm Dual - for GPU section in Push only.

Silverstone 180mm Fan with Analog Control AP182 x2

EK Full Cover VGA Block EK-FC R9-290X Acetal Nickel - not sure if Backplate needed.

Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 120mm - for CPU section in Push/Pull.

Silverstone 120mm Air Penetrator Fan AP121 x2

Alphacool NexXxoS XP3 Light CPU Block - Black Chrome Edition

XSPC DDC-1T Plus 3.2 18W Pump

Masterkleer Tubing PVC Clear 3/8ID 1/2OD 3m

Alphacool 13/10 Compression Fitting 45 Degree - Black x2

Alphacool 13/10 Compression Fitting G1/4 Black x8

This will be going into a Silverstone Raven RV02-E hence the use of the 180mm Fans and Radiator setup. The 120 Monsta is to go on the Exhaust fan location. The choice of Rad's mainly due to the case design.

I haven't decided on a reservoir yet and whether it's actually needed. I've seen a few loops sans reservoir with flow meters which have had no issues. If a reservoir is needed I was wondering if a bay would be ok or whether I should go for one of the small cylinder ones plus a D5 pump?

The other question I have is whether I should get the Apogee Drive 2 with MCP35X instead of the Alphacool block + XSPC pump. Cooling between the two blocks seems very similar so it's much of a muchness from that point of view. The only issue would be noise as the pump can't be seated independently.

Any other ideas for the loop would be helpful.

Mod the drive bays and put in a triple radiator. Also, when I was looking at these builds, people with the 120mm radiator said that the extra tubing and hot air from the other radiator cancelled the 120mm's effect out. I'm pretty sure the guy that made this build ended up swapping it for a Delta fan. thumb.gif
EDIT: Make sure the 290 will fit with the radiator and fans.

Not a bad idea on the drive bays, though I have all full atm so that could be an issue.

Thing is I'm not aiming for multi-GPU yet. If I do it would be max of two cards. Can't be bothered with more. So the Triple Rad would be serious overkill.

I'm also wondering if I could get away with a no reservoir build technically using the rad headers for the reservoir...
