Tuniq Tower 120 broke! - Page 2

Wouldn't a local hardware store carry them? I always find what I am looking for in lowes.

Also, before it broke i was getting crappy temps. My idle was at 34C and my load was at 53C. I overclocked it to see waht temps i got. My vcore is at 1.26 after Vdroop and i was at 2.7 ghz.

Yup, amazingly enough they are two pieces. I went to the store and just got some of the superglue for models and stuff. I went ahead and poured the superglue in the top of the thumbscrew, then attached the broken piece. After that I used more superglue around the base of the head of the thumbscrew to make sure it wouldnt come off. Like I said, it has worked fine for 4+ weeks with no signs of weakening.

OOK
THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME

It wasn't on tight enough yet and then pop! Broken thumbscrew, i have krazy glued it back together and am idling at 32 C with 17.8C Ambient temp overclocked to 3.1 GHz, which seems a little high, am i right? *and atm the heatsink isn't on very tight, just tight enough to stay put, but not as tight as i have made my previous setups*

Anyways i went to Frys and asked a few of the workers where i can find this screw, and they don't carry, it seems to be a uniquely Tuniq screw.

If any of you find this screw anywhere, please email me Dezixn@gmail.com or just post here.

And those 2 replacement screws were for a different socket setup i think, but i am going to see if those will work also.

Havent had this issue with mine yet so not sure what to tell you. Superglue should work.
