celeron vs core 2 duo

Thread Starter
My friend has a celeron and he asked me what his celeron is supposed to be compared to conroe so I started explaning to him all the different cores and came up with this :
2ghz allendale = 1.8 ghz conroe
2ghz sd = 1.6 ghz conroe
2 ghz venice = 1.4 ghz conroe
2ghz barton = 1.2 ghz conroe
2ghz sempron = 1ghz conroe
2ghz p4 (fsb800) = 800mhz conroe
2ghz p4 (fsb 400 ) = 600mhz conroe
2ghz celeron d = 400mhz conroe
2ghz celeron = 200mhz conroe
and if we add another 200 mhz for the dual core part that means :
2 GHZ CELERON = 0 MHZ CONROE
ok lets make it 1 mhz

You're a little off on a couple of things..especially towards the bottom..

I know i,m a lot off , it,s just an estimation , going from core to core will result different results : for example : barton vs venice is more like 300-400
but i put it 200 , and a lot of them r less or more than 200 but my point is the errores will cancel each others and all i want is to compare the celeron with the conore not all the cores .

If I turned up the vcore a bit on my unlocked 0mhz conroe, I could up the multiplier and OC to *gasp* 0ghz. That's right. Do the math.

Well at 1.8ghz celeron that would = -200 conroe then when u up the multi you will be underclocking , and when playing games you will get minus fps
Imagine playing cs with – 60 fps, you push the mouse button and the bullet gets out of your opponent, body and gets back to your gun .
note : seriously guys I know that when comparing different cores there is a percentage to be calculated not a certen mhz, for example :
2ghz sd = 1.8 ghz venice
3ghz sd = 2.7 ghz venice not 2,8 ghz
so will you all stop bashing me and enjoy the joke , i know there is no way for a 1mhz conroe to = 2ghz celeron, come on , have some sense of humor .
note to self : you should have posted this thread in the joke and humor section
