That's ok! Thanks for your help guys! Oh, I got a microfibre cloth, and inserted it into the PCI slot and rubbed it up and down. I put the card in the slot, and it works now somehow!

I didn't use any alcohol, just a dry cloth.

I use little cans of something called "slotglide" for many of my cheaper builds just to keep away from issues like this.

When it comes to $700 GPU's though, I will exchange that card until I get one without so much as a fingerprint on it because no one likes to spend that much and then have to worry about oily substances.

I am glad to hear you have this issue sorted out.

Its tough to stand behind the retail store model when they sell you a computer they dont know how to support.
