I'll explain as simply as possible.
1. Turned on my computer for the first time, and everything went smooth.
2. I restarted my computer after changing the ram speed in the BIOS, and then nothing displayed right after I selected "save and exit" the bios.
3. I then pressed the reset button on the case about 3 times and then a screen finally displayed saying that it had trouble booting a few times, and then gives me the option to enter BIOS or wait for windows.
4. I wait for windows and when everything is up and running, the computer is perfectly fine. I play games, surf the web, listen to music and not one single problem occurs.
5. I put my CPU OC down to its stock rate, and that didn't fix the problem either. It was at 4.2, so nothing too crazy at all.
I didnt want to build my computer this time, so I tried ibuypower.com and had it shipped. Obviously, it wasn't the greatest of ideas. Also, this process occurs every time I restart or turn on my comp.
I have an ASrock x79 extreme9 mobo,
4960x @ 4.2, 2
corsair SSD Neutron's 480gb in RAID 0,
1500w EVGA psu,
16gb g skill ram 2133mhz,
and I had a 630 2gb deliverd with the computer because I already have two 780ti's and I didnt want to spend the extra cash for another set of 780ti's. So the 780ti's are in SLI configuration in my system as of right now. I have another HDD, a velociraptor 10000rpm 1tb.
I can't seem to figure out what the heck is going on. It's so weird. Pressing the restart button about 3 times is my only saving grace to enter BIOS or for windows to start up. My monitor says "no signal detected" as soon as I restart my comp, or turn it on, and my computer just remains on but nothing displays until I hit that reset button a few times.
Any ideas?
