Thank you, Yes I am actually going to get the 780Ti SLI, I was waiting on xmas deals and boxing day deals hoping that I would see these on sale somewhere, and did not! So I'm going to grab the case at the end of the month because its going to have a TON of modding done to it in order to fit:

  • 2 x Triple Rads (+1 possible double)
  • 2 x 250ML Phobya Gold res + Dual D5 pump with a
  • Bitspower Dual D5 Pump Serial Pump Top

Don't know if Im going dual Loop or one big single look, all will be voted on by you guys smile.gif but I have a ton of fabrication and modding to do to the case so those are the next parts I'm getting, unfortunately nothing was on sale this boxing day, and I missed out on a MASSIVE sale because I couldn't bring myself to get up a 5:00AM and stand in the -30 degree C weather.

NCIX had a 480GB OCZ SSD for $149!!! 2 limit per customer, I was gonna grab two.. just couldn't get myself to get out of bed and stand in the freezing cold!

So subbed will there be tutorials im interested in devling into acrylic tubing curious what the learning curve is

THANK YOU smile.gifthumb.gif

Yes I am video logging everything as well as pics of everything. A lot of this build will be firsts for me as well, custom cabling, Acrylic bending, and multi loop preparations. So I will be documenting everything as I go.

With that said the tubing will be one of the last things on the list I will be doing so if you were thinking of getting a tutorial sooner than later on tubing checkout ronsanut acrylic demo on youtube, its really in depth detail and give you confidence that you can do it to.

The next thing I will be doing is grabbing the case and send out some parts for custom coloring and I'm modding the interior for my 2 x triple rads + 2x 250ML Gold Res wink.gif

The Poll results are final and have purchased the Corsair Obsidian 750D with a win of 66% by the voters thumb.gif

Here are some of the pics of the breakdown of the Corsair before I start Modding, to put in place two triple radiators. Please hurry and vote for what Radiators I should be using, keep in mind I will most likely only be able to do a push or pull configuration on these rads.

I will be submitting my first video log tonight after I get everything together with my methodology and the next steps to start cutting the HDD cage out and fabricating the panel for the dual reservoir mount smile.gif

  1. Corsair Obsidian 750D arrival and breakdown

New Poll Submitted Please vote for the triple Rads I should use

Obsidian teardown with Hard Drive cage gone, there should be plenty of space to add two triple rads in there now thumb.gif

Also I have uploaded my first video log for the build Part 1 with part review, and the mods currently done to the case.

Poll Updated Please vote for the triple Radiators I should use

NOTE: I may need to go with a multi port rad for this configuration because of the space restrictions I will have to measure and see.

As well I think I'm going to use triple 140mm rads so I'll have to look into those

Thanks nor can I!! Lol but got a ton to go with learning how to sleeve learning how to bend tube and deliding etc thumb.gif

please resubmit our votes for the radiator, I decided to use 2 - triple 140mm rads only

Also need to find out which is better a 60mm rad in pull or a 30mm rad in push/pull

Xt45, in pull or push would be the best, 60mm plus a 25mm fan would be cutting it too close

I vote for airplex rads. You could get the panels polished or painted with a silver shine to compliment the gold.

Airplex are wider and longer than normal rads so no hope of them fitting.

I think I'm leaning towards that as well but am learning so much about rads and configurations it's crazy!! The effects of the thicker rads vs the thinner and the fan config etc, I've always had the luxury of doing push/pull in my set ups but never had a thick rad before.

I'm trying to optimize the case so it's efficient and using the space wisely and getting the best config possible, but I think I'd be pushing it with a 60mm rad in the top.

I do like the looks of these rads but I thought I saw a review somewhere where they showed no performance gain over the competitors at twice the price it was not worth it... But I can verify the spacing as well as Heracles said they are bigger than normal, but they did catch my eye:p

Well, the sr-1 would be my second choice. You could always sand down the rad and give it the same treatment. Shiny shiny me likey
