Loving the drive cage removal! I'm planning on do that as well for my build. One question though since you already removed it. Your plans were to put an acrylic piece where the previous drive covers were, but do you think that their would be a way to still reattach those covers to the front to keep that clean look on the front? Anyways, can't wait to see more!

Hmmmm you think the silver would go well with the gold and black? Unless it's a polished black like shiny black... biggrin.gif

Thanks thumb.gif so the front cages are not attached to the hdd cage they are attached to the bezel with the fans so yes you can keep the original 5"25 bay covers without changing the look at all biggrin.gif

So from the measurements alone I can get a 420 rad (30mm thickness) in the top and any size thickness in the front. The reason I need the 30mm thickness at the top is cause with 1 fan it is millimetres from hitting the front rad.

Case total depth 525mm - 460mm front rad - 30mm top rad - 25mm fan = 10mm that is 5mm between the rads and 5mm from the bottom...

If you're set on going 420 and you have 30mm of space... well then the choice is obvious.

ST30 it is! tongue.gif

But another option is the HWLabs Black Ice GT Stealth, which has high FPI and a glossy look like some people were suggesting.

Well I've gone and ordered the Rads and Pump and res... unfortunately because of size restrictions I was unable to fully listen to the poll results, and after measuring these were the best options (only real options) I had left. I wanted a thicker rad in the front because there is room and a thinner one on top because I had to. the in/out on the XSPC was wider than that of the alphacool rads and I needed that spacing for tube routing. The Koolance 420 Rad was the only 420 thicker rad (55mm wide) I could see within reason.

Products
1 x Phobya Balancer 250 Gold plated $39.95
1 x Performance-PCs Über 655 Fully Modded (D5) 12 VDC Water Pump - Gold
- Pump Type: MCP-655
- Nozzles: No Nozzles
- Cable: Sleeve in your choice of colors
- Sleeve Color: Gold
- Heatshrink Color: Black $188.95
1 x XSPC EX420 Triple Fan Low Profile / High Performance Radiator $74.99
1 x EK-CoolStream Radiator XTC (420)

I went with the XSPC Rad on top because the ports are separated further than the alpacool rads ports, this will help me space out the tubing runs and will like up with the Koolance rad. The Koolance rad I chose is one of the only 55mm thick 420 rads I was able to see.

Top Rad: XSPC EX420 Triple Fan Low Profile / High Performance Radiator 143 x 30 x 460 mm (WxDxH)
Side Rad: EK-CoolStream Radiator XTC (420) 460x146x55mm

what a money pit this is, Im now making the custom bracket for the pump res config, the next poll option is going up regarding the fans

NEW POLL OPTIONS: What 140mm fans should I use for the Rad configs?

I voted other; take a look at the Phanteks PH-F140XP / PH-F140SP (the white blades may be an issue in your build, though). I also like the Cougar Vortex, of which the orange vibration dampeners can be colored to black to complement your build.

OMG I hate UPS..

"oh your not home during the workday 9-5, I'll try tomorrow during the workday 9-5... and we aren't open on weekends, and you can't do a store pickup..."

WTH!!!??? LOL I literally have to work from home tomorrow to get my rads from UPS, UGH they are so annoying, oh well you guys will have pics tomorrow of the Rads and new items I can't wait for this weekend to just work on it smile.gif

Oh and on top of that they are slapping me with a $130 border tax!!! I've never had to pay duty from the states before!

How on earth did the AF140 get the most poll votes...

Feel sorry for you about the shipping situation, and UPS is even held in higher regard than FedEx, makes you wonder just how bad FedEx is.

We may need to discuss this fan poll I'd like to hear all the pros and cons. Luckily we are limited to a range of only a few 140mm fans so we can really get into it because these will be bought as soon as the poll is decided. Like this weekend lol

Noiseblocker>Noctua

Don't know much about Akasa or NZXT for radiators, don't really see them being used as rad fans,

Corsair AF fans are a big NO NO, they have very little static pressure which is the important part in radiator fans
