Yes

To the level that it might even cause a GPU Bottleneck.

And at higher resolutions you will get lower FSP, since the CPU bottleneck will be less.

I know this sounds like a paradox, but let me give it a try.

Low resolutions: little work for GPU, and CPU is quite busy.
High resolutions: more work for GPU, and CPU stays about the same. Since the ratio of stress on the GPU and CPU changes in favor of the CPU, there is less bottleneck, but since the GPU is more busy, FSP will drop.

You will not get a higher FPS, but if the CPU is bottlenecked, you can get higher resolutions for 'free', up to the point where the CPU has to wait for the GPU instead.

As high you can. I rather have high res than high fsp (I like image quality), and that card will handle high res with easy (and still good fsp)

That score is way too low, even with that CPU. Something else is amiss.

Can you give us an ORB link to the 3DMark score?

And run 3DMark06 (3DMark05 is a bit too old for an 8800)

I'd give it a try with only 1GB RAM. 1.5GB indicates you have mixed RAM, which is not a good idea.

To check if this is indeed a CPU bottleneck, run 3DMark with different CPU speeds, and see how the score changes. Let us know.

EDIT: Never mind the last comment. Just realized from your other thread that you can't overclock (Dell, right?)

And thank you chozart.

EDIT: When i was saying 5000 i mena 06. Sorry i wrote wrong. And i get 8000 on 05. But still that aint good!

EDIT: I am not running mixed ram. I mean i have same brand. Or do you mena that i dont have same size on each ram?
