Updated with 500 Hz results from Enotus. This time MouseTester reported even higher speeds while Enotus seemed to be more conservative. But this time I've also always used both at the same time and so could see what results Enotus deliveres for the same swipe that MouseTester delivered the graph. Somehow Enotus seems to be more conservative than MouseTester. I guess that's a good thing.

Would you be kind enough to upload them too?

I've seen that your use of Enotus has been kinda liberal on the 1150 step (on 1kHz it's being read as 1200CPI, whereas on your latest screenshots it's being "detected" at 1000CPI), which could cause some disparity on the results given the rounding the program gives to readings.

Logically it gives much higher PCS when Enotus detects it a lower CPI.

As a side request and a bit off topic :
How would you judge this mouse compared to the FK?

I've read around that the new batches of FK have the same IR Led and "tape trick".
Any comment on how well implemented they seem compared to previous versions?
Specifically about the plastic lens cover designed to do the tape trick, did it attract dust in your case?

I know about Enotus giving out wrong results with the cpi as it only allows for 200 intervals. But I just manually calculate by the counts/s which it shows too. So the reading in the end is still accurate. That's why the 1150 step (which really is 1100 on mine, so exactly between 1000 and 1200) calculates to 4.02m/s rather than the shown 4.25 m/s.

Did a side by side test with Enotus and MouseTester just now:

The tape trick seems to be implemented just fine, theres actually little to no dust around the sensor.
Right now I'm using the EC1 as my main mouse, the shape/grip grew on my quicker than I thought biggrin.gif

Simply put: 2300 CPI/ 500 Hz.

But any step on 500 Hz is fine.

got ec1 evo today. probably biggest surprise was the mouse buttons, were expecting them to be much stiffer from all the talk. i'm actually accidentally clicking the rmb which is a problem i never had before. Not sure about the surface, haven't done any long gaming sessions with it yet.

Had that on my Deathadder all the time, probably due to the shape and softer switches. With the EC1 it's fine, maybe because I'm used to even softer switches.
