I'm not sure what you EXPECTED out of a DFI board? Easy? NO BODY EVER EVER SAID DFIs WERE EASY TO OC. They only say they have the best OCability... which takes skill patience and work. It takes a lot of work to get them going but once you find the right settings combo for your equip not only will it outdo the others' OC it'll also outdo them per clock as well.
That being said... you MUST put a DFI spec PSU on there or you might as well chuck the board out the window...
It's not the board's fault you didn't do ANY RESEARCH into it otherwise you'd know what you had instore for you. A new PSU purchase and a ton of work. That being said, look at Bowtie's post. He's a regular over at DFI-street and a 3G prime stable club member. You'd also do well to read very closely the DFI-STREET ULTIMATE OCing GUIDE. It's a valuable tool for the newbies.
