Scythe Ninja Rev.B

hi guys,

i've decided on this scythe ninja plus rev b cooler, but i've got a few problems:

1) as my motherboard uses a 4-pin fan connector instead of a 3-pin, will the scythe ninja be constantly running at full rpm since it cannot be automatically adjusted?

2) does the ninja have any sort of built-in thermal sensing that will automatically lower fan speed?

thanks!

I think the RPM controll is done through the 3rd pin. I could be wrong. If I were you I would just run it fullspeed anyways. Scythe fans are quiet. The thermal sensor is on your motherboard, not the HSF.

EDIT: Nevermind! I decided to get the AC 7 Freezer Pro instead. Thanks!

Would this HS Fan fit on a case with approximately 165mm (vertical wise if the CPU was laying flat) ? Or would it be a tight fit? Im hesitating about ordering because I dont want to have to pay a 15% restocking fee.
