Hey guys first timer here on the forums and I'm excited to start building my dream machine!

My goal with this build was to try and cram the most powerful build possible into a very compact rig.

So far the hardware I have thought out are:

Case: Caselabs Mecury S3
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Impact
CPU: intel Core i7-4770k
GPU: Sapphire R9 290X
SSD: 2 x 240GB HyperX (Raid 0)
Memory: 2 x 8GB AMD Gamer Series 2133MHz Kingston HyperX 2133MHz
PSU: Corsair RM650 HighPower Astro GD600 XFX XTR 550W XFX XTR 750W

I haven't really thought about how to set up my cooling loop yet and I will probably have some questions for you guys in the future.

I will have to wait until the case arrives to get a better idea of how I want to go about this.

In the meantime I headed out to NCIX and picked up these parts to start off!

I've been dreaming of this project for ages, can't believe I'm finally building it!

Some intel goodness mmmmmmm thumb.gif

So much red I love it!

Hadn't put too much thought into my selection of the PSU but I think this was a good pick since I want to go for a nice quiet build

The SupremeFX is so sexyyyyyy biggrin.gif

Set up a test bench only to realize I had no spare drive lying around mad.gif

Another goodie just arrived!!
Originally was going to go with AMD Gamer Series RAM but they were backordered and NCIX told me they weren't going to order more.
Luckily they gave me a good deal on these and stoked on them!!

These are some amazing looking memory sticks I must say

These stock coolers look sexy but too bad they will be replaced with water blocks in the near future tongue.gif

This was just dropped off!!
No time to assemble it because work but damn I'm excited
Packaging seems superb everything is seperately sealed and the box seems to be custom fit to ensure the tighest packaging.
