I didn't like the look of the white LEDs inside the case so I ordered some new red LED strips from Dazmode along with a 90degree fitting to make filling the loop easier. Last exam ends tomorrow as well so should be able to have some pictures up within the next few days!

And to think that people say XFX support is worse than Asus rolleyes.gif

I had no problems with either company's RMA process and they both got it done in a timely manner so I will not comment on which was better as they were both equally adequate

Wouldn't red LEDs wash out the red components? Would be a shame to not let your parts be viewed in its full glory.

We'll see, in fact the white seems to wash out the color and make the coolant seem more orange than red that's why im changing them out

You were right, I was wrong... Installed the red LEDs completely washed out the red in the build.
so white makes it look orange, red makes it look white. What's the answer frown.gif

Change the coolant/dye perhaps?

First of all, congrats on getting it done! I'm glad all the companies accepted your RMAs, gives me hope for their CS departments.

You may have to consider getting cold cathodes as they are not as intense as LEDs and give more of a lighting glow instead of intense bright spots. There was also someone in the CaseLabs club thread (was it Bneg?) who did this custom transparent cover for LED strips so that the light was diffused and evenly distributed. If I find the post, I'll link it you here.

Edit: Found it from Bneg's build log: http://www.overclock.net/t/1416559/sponsored-cl0s3-impact-res-built-tested-and-i-owe-parvum-a-cold-beer/270#post_21727043

Finally got around to taking some pictures!
I switched out the red LEDs for white ones for now.
Also added an exhaust fan at the back of the case since only have 4 intake fans was raising the internal temp of the case.

I present to you MiniRed!
