Flashing An nVidia Card WITHOUT A Floppy? - Page 4

As long as you have a dos prompt you can flash.

Do you have a w98SE cd?

If you do boot from that and use a cdrw for your rom and flash utility.

XP cd won't work since it does'nt create a regular dos prompt anymore

Nvidia has a win32based flash that you can do through the CMD....

tried using nvwinflash, but it says "ERROR: No NVIDIA display adaptors found"

I'm running XTreme-G drivers atm, is that why?

I think i tried once but wouldnt work without a floppy! But i have a floppy drive now and still havent installed it or flashed lol!

Let me ask you this.. do you think your poor card wants to be flashed.. Look at it in the eyes and tell it you want to flash it.. Just for that it may hate you!
