Honestly, you should try the new GT Academy. Basically a demo for GT6 with the new physics engine. It is vastly improved over GT5 in the handling and subtly department. And the actual release improved over the demo.

There are shortcomings in the suspension setup in GT6. Specifically caster and units.

I wish the parts upgrades in Forza were in GT. The wrench head in me likes all the flavor text.

OMG yes! That's exactly what I'm talking about only with GT-level detailing and the ability to get in and out of the cars...

I actually really liked Forza 4. I played it at a friends house and enjoyed it more than GT5 which is hard to admit because I'm a GT/Sony elitist tongue.gif Still gotta give credit where credit is due. Hell pretty much every car savvy person I knew who did track days preferred Forza 4 over GT5 at the time. sad to see part 5 getting so much flak.

Definitely not an arcade racer, it's one of the harder racing sims out there. Watch people that are good playing at hardest dificulties with no assists.

GRID 2 is most definitely a arcade racing game. It's like playing need for speed.

I can blow through those grid based Chicago road tracks 100 mph around a 90 degree turn all day long with barely taping the break.
The tires grip so well that you can do nearly anything with no sliding. It all just depending on how well you can apex a corner and your overall racing skill.

Not to mention how fake everything feels with 3rd person view, I just cant see how that qualifies as a sim.
I modded in a cockpit view for the game and played it for a few hours, but even then it wasn't doing it for me. it just felt like the NFS games from the PS2 days. Fun, but not my style anymore.

Just because it's difficult doesn't mean it's a sim.
