M4 64GB CRAMMED!

Thread Starter
I started allowing my son to use my Mr. Blue rig, and off and on he has added programs and God knows what else, that have totally crammed this drive. It is set-up as "C" so it is the start up drive and has W7 installed on it. A few months ago I cleaned it up a bit, and now it has gotten ridiculously crammed again. I'm really close to just wiping the drive and reinstalling Windows. What should I do? The other thing I want to do for future is to set my rig up so that any new program gets installed to another drive automatically. I don't know how to do this. Thanks for any help.

you need to make a few registry edits.

See: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/how-do-you-change-the-default-installation/73450b25-d794-4f18-9add-75253b893343

Note the need to edit twice for 64 bit version of windows 7.
