Overclocking Cely D

Thread Starter
Ok quick question, I have a celeron d 346 on an Asus mobo with Kingston Valueram pc3200.

I can't control the voltages in bios at all and uping the CPU more than say 5-10% I get crash's etc. I'm figuring its my memory thats just not able to handle the up'd bus speed so heres my question.

If I up'd my CPU FSB to 159mhz and downed the memory to 333 would this maintain a 1:1 ration thus making the ram think its still running at 400mhz? or am I completely not understanding this at all? You can see myfull system specs below as far as mobo model # etc. Thanks for the help

to be at 1:1 then if your fsb is 166 then your ram should be at 333 .
you should loosen the ram timings manualy , look at cpu-z u will see it puts what the ram is supposed to be set at 400 , set the timings according to that.
