Honestly I think PlatinumGames can make a Bayonetta 2 port happen if they ask for funding from Kickstarter. Worst case scenario could be that Nintendo wants 10% of the money from the sales on Steam.
I hear digital distribution is really cheap.

Nintendo
I don't think Nintendo has any plans to fund Bayonetta 2 on Xbox , PC or Playstation, but i thought that at very least that if PlatinumGames on their own intiative decided to port Bayo 2 to PC with Kickstarter fund, then at very least Nintendo would allow them to do so for free or demand 10%.

I think the prospects of PlatinumGames getting 3M dollars for Bayonetta 2 port is more likely than them asking Nintendo to fund a PC port.

"Hey Nintendo, you got a exclusivity thing going on...but we want to make the game on PC, whaddya say?"
Nintendo "O_O?"

But if they said "Hey we want to port Bayo 2 to PC half a year after it's Wii U release with help from Kickstarter and we will pay you 10% for allowing us to do so"
then i think Nintendo would allow it.

Maybe their contract is WiiU exclusivity for consoles, and open to PC ports. If MGS:R sells well (which i think it might be) they might do a "quick and dirty" port for Bayonetta 2.

Id play 60fps/1080p to get that game over.

Finally finished Rising and i must say that it's actually a good porting but the mouse and keyboard combo makes some enemies twice as stronger (expecially the last boss) , to me it's 7.5 or 8 / 10. thumb.gif

It's not an exclusive contract, they paid to have the game developed and are publishing it, without Ninty there would have been no Bayonetta 2.

Without Nintendo there wouldn't be a exclusivity either. My point with saying this is not to shame Nintendo for their business decision but to point out that just because Nintendo decided to fund and publish Bayo 2, doesn't make them anything more than a company fending out for themself.

And I think that for people who have PS or Xbox console and have no plans of changing to Wii U, that they might have been better off with a delayed Bayonetta 2 as a result of a potential company working with PlatinumGames (Sony /Microsoft, Console wars (?) ) or even Sega themself changing their minds.
