Haswell or Wait?

Hello. I was going to get a Haswell i5 for Christmas, but I know by this time next year, DDR4 will be out. However, I'm guessing it will be terribly expensive since it will be new, and there will be kinks that need to be worked out. My question is whether I should wait for both Intel's next CPU family, and DDR4, or whether I am right about the price and kinks, and should just get a Haswell now.

You only lose if all you ever do is play the waiting game. I'd get Haswell now or find a cheap used Ivy setup. Would be a nice upgrade from current spec (according to sig).

Alright, now I've got the issue of finding a motherboard. Most on Newegg are either pricy, and most have only 4 eggs. Also, I want a black mobo, stupid I know, but I'm OCD. I found a Gigabyte one that is new, that looks great, and is cheap, but only has 3 reviews, and its PCI 2 slot is only a x4. Would that kill my video card performance for Crossfire?

Alright, looking a bunch on Newegg, there doesn't seem to be a motherboard that is black, has more than 4 eggs, is around of less than $150, and has decent Crossfire/SLI capabilities (most seem to have a x4 second PCI slot) so I think I will tough it out with my CPU for another year or two, maybe until Broadwell is out and DDR4 is available.

Use this time to save, a bigger budget means less features get cut. That extra $20-$50 per part can make a difference.
