Kepler Bios Tweaker V1.26 (V1.27 added) TDP unlock GTX 780TI 780 Titan GTX770 ... - Page 12

So, if I successfully flash to a GTX 770 reference bios, would that enable me to go higher on my voltage then 1.21?
No... It may provide smoother FPS in games by preventing GPU clock ups and downs and removing the 70C GPU throttling bottleneck.

Ah, I see. I don't think it will matter for me then, since I don't hit 70c, since I am watercooled frown.gif

Also it should be noted that this specific card I have is based on a 680 GTX board layout. Don't know i that would cause any kinds if limitations. it is the NCP4206 chip on board and I've had some cards unlocked to 1.212 but this one is locked for some reason and I can't determine why...

i did get about 1.212 on my gtx 770 you need to set the clock tables to a higher value
and you will need to find the exact same table on voltage
example if you set the gpu table to 1320 mhz in the table there's 53 or 40 clocks example clock 50 is 1320 mhz
you go to voltage table and change the voltage to the correspondent clock
screen :

some card will boost voltage up to 1.3V some will not
mine never bypass the 1.221 or 1.25v the bios flash

you can also move the max boost slider on the boost table up 1 click and it will run the clocks at a slightly lower voltage.

I think it may help get you over 1.21v. It also has much better and more sophisticated voltage and clock controls. GTX 770 is simply more optimized, kind of like GTX 680 revision/version 2.

What will happen if you over volt your card. I have a Gigabyte GTX 770 OC 4GB boost clock running 1293 mhz and 7406 mhz @ 1.212V. Can I crank up the voltage about 1.3V or it depends with different cards? Mine running at about 59-67 Celsius when gaming.

How can I use Kepler Bios Tweaker V1.27 to modify the max boost clock on my GTX 780?

My problem is that when I use Zotac Firestorm to o'clk my GTX 780 it sets the base clock
just fine, and the voltage, but it boosts from my overclocked base clock so high that the
GPU locks up. I already have 1.212V unlocked as a selectable VID in Zotac Firestorm.

So, what I need to do is limit the max boost clock. I tried changing the Boost Limit on the
Common tab to a much lower speed, but the card still boosts way over the Boost Limit
I set. I set the Boost Limit to 1176Mhz, but the card still goes ahead and boosts way above
1200Mhz and then locks up.

How can I edit fanspeed?

Same question. How is this possible (if at all)? It just doesnt make any sense to have the fans run at 1000 RPM on idle when living in a cold climate...

you can limit fans to a certain percentage
