Well what you just said is a little... No offence; but ironic.
You stated that a 2-module solution would not be powerful enough to account for games like Starcraft II. Fair point.
You then further suggest that a 3 or 4-module solution would offer more CPU power overall. True, fair point.
The ironic part lies in the fact that games that are CPU-intensive (read: SC2, Diablo III, ANY MOBA EVER, etc.) only ever use 2-3 threads primarily, so adding an additional module or two would'nt lead to too many benefits.
Either way; you're right, Mantle WONT help with games like SC2 and any games that don't/won't (read: Any Total War game ever) support the Mantle API, however; hUMA is indiscriminate and definitely will be able to aid in games like SC2. This benefit is obviously less than a combined Mantle + hUMA effort, but it's definitely worth mentioning.
To be honest, I just dont think there's the die space for a 3rd or 4rth module... :/ As much as I myself would love to have that as well.
