Modifying a HS fan

Thread Starter
Wow! This modding business is quite addicting .

My soon to be arriving Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro has a 92mm fan, which I was thinking of using as another case fan instead.

I was wondering if the HS Fan can use a 120mm fan, or would I have to stick with the same size? Also, does the "PWM" technology occur in the AC7 stock fan, and would I lose that ability if I changed to another fan?

Thanks and mod on!

Fill out them system specs!

If it can't natively mount a 120mm fan.... ZipTies usually work.
Once again...

No a 120mm fan wont fit. The HS does not sit high enough so the fan just hits your mobo. A Silverstone FM92 will work with zip ties just fine.
