Calling all 4770k owners, do you have an R9 290X?

Hey everyone, I am certain that I am getting upto 25% lower FPS than I should be with my system and i'm looking for people with the same components to compare scores with.

My system at the moment:

Asus Maximus VI Formula
4770K
R9 290 unlocked to 290X
8GB Dominator GT Ram 2000MHz CL9
Samsung 830 256Gb SSD
1000W CM Silent Pro PSU

All watercooled including GPU, max temps when overclocked 45*C

I would like to compare scores for the inbuilt benchmarks for:

Hitman
Tomb Raider
Metro Last Light
Valley
Heaven
3D Mark (extreme)

If anyone is up for helping I would hugely appreciate it so please sign up here. thumb.gif

I will list driver and game versions in the following posts along with my results.
I think It is important to run everything at stock for a fair comparison so if possible, that would be most ideal smile.gif I guess the only real variables will be ram speeds and capacities but hopefully that won't sway the results too much, certainly not by 25%!

I will update this post as soon as I have recorded the benchmarks and version details.

Thanks so much for any one that contributes, I need to get to the bottom of this as it is painful seeing a system of this spec not performing as it should!

Cheers, James

I don't have any of those games but i did run 3dmark extreme before i got my 2nd card installed. I was very pleased with the single card performance on mine.

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7676926 x5232 i don't have waterblocks in yet (Saturday) so this is a low overclock and my 4770k overclocks terribly.

I'm not after higher raw FPS as such, it is the relative FPS vs similar systems running windows 7. I can happily take a minor FPS hit by not using Windows 8, I really don't like the OS biggrin.gif
