Just installed the Kraken G10 with a Kraken X40 on a R9 290X in a push/pull config, check out the video.

Great video and I had a good feeling the vrm would need some extra cooling. What vrm heatsinks are those at the end of your video?

Have you tried installing the additional heatsinks and then compared the temperatures? I'm REALLY thinking about buying the G10 and a R9 290, but would love to see how much the heatsinks does for the VRM smile.gif

Edit: I see here http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=4728318 that you are thinking about changing the airflow too. If you would, please first add the heatsinks, and test temperatures. Then change the airflow, and then test again. Will help us get a better idea of the impacts of the different changes smile.gif

Thanks for the followup. I will have to ask what happened to the two-step approach? You are change two important variables here tongue.gif

Anywho. Du you have any plans on overclocking? Would love to see the temps on your memory when you start overclocking them smile.gif And have you tried a FurMark test to see the extreme temperatures?
