11 days remain yet no Mantle.
Even though most people care for the game to work more I want to crunch them numbers biggrin.gif

What if Mantle causes instability in AMD cards, making the game even more unplayable?
Introduce something new just to make things even more complicated for the clean up crew.

They need to fix the game first.

If they introduce mantle and mess up the game, I will be royally PO'd. After all the updates, my game still runs like a magnificent steed! Plz hold in there R9 290, mantle is coming.

Mantle is optional if I'm not mistaken. It requires a separate set of drivers or some sort of installation + setting change.

There's a large group that bought AMD for BF4 Mantle. It's not optional for them.
An extra boost in performance is useless if the game still crashes and bugs interfering with gameplay.

More FPS! ....Crtl Alt Del rolleyes.gif

This has been my last on going issue. Actually scratch that, usually my first attempt at joining a server fails to connect but the second server I try almost always works.

The DX part is the screwup and before you ask not much problems on the new consoles right wink.gif
Mantle should make games more stable and will benefit everybody in the long run in terms of cpu and will help AMD's GCN gpus a bit extra.

Indeed there is but we have moderators over at OC UK talking about Mantle's gains over DX and it seems that it is just the next big thing. (guess that is why so many companies jumped ship after some bigger companies asked for this)
