comming from one who owns a 7950 gt i would recomend u the 7950 gt im almost maxed out in setting, for FEAR,Half Life 2 is maxed out but thats considering my card is OC at 623/792 and my dual core is at 3.92 and u said u were going to get it from leadtek there good and all but the cooler sucks on this idles around 50, and im now odering a Hr 03 wich had reviews for the same card wich will idle around 38wich is amazing for me.

i ddint never said i was going with a 7900 series card, i said if you ae going to get a 7900gs get the leadteck version since it overclocks the most. also im pretty sure that for under 250 the x1950 xt is easily the best card, and should also get a decent overclock.

i'd say a sapphire x1900xt, the others may be better buys for the money, but this one offers the best performance under 250$

how does the x1900xt beat the x1950xt? or is it beacuse its cheaper, although wiht the mail in rebate on the x1950 xt it will be $215 i think.

edit: read the reviews on bit-tech of the x1950 pro and 7950 gt. the x1950 pro at stock compares with the 7950 gt oc version and 512mb version, and beats overclocked 7900gs, overclocked 7900gt. all the test were performed with the same parts, except the gpu's of course. the x1900xt is faster than everything, but the x1950 pro provides more futures.
