VPN for entire network traffic?

Thread Starter
Ok so first off, i live in a house share where the internet is shared via virgin medias "Super" hub. Everyone else is connected to this with all their files shared etc as non of therm know much about networking, I however know enough tongue.gif. So the current set up i have is shown below

I already have all my files kept away from my house mates, however i am more than aware that all my traffic is being passed through the superhub and is accessible by housemates, if they knew how (Change in housemates is fairly often, so it could become an issue) In order to tackle this i am currently using cyberghost free, however the free speeds are really slow an i only have it installed on my main desktop.
My NAS is used to download torrents via an app transmission, however i cant install software on my nas as its a netgear Readynas NV+. So due to using virgin media they are throttling my connection so i want to route all of my network from torrenting to browsing through a vpn that i can install on the mining rig and bridge the wireless and wired connection so that it uses the vpn?
I dont know if this is even possible? any help regarding how to achieve this goal or a different way in which to pass all of my traffic through a vpn that does not keep logs

Yes but all vpns that dont keep logs and are free will be paid not free, also you wouldn tneed to bridge the conenctions, you could just set up double nat (yayyy) then a IPSEC tunnel from the router to a remote host (VPS maybe) and viola you are now "securley" routing traffic

Sorry had a hard time viewing the diagram. But, you could try grabbing a router that supports dd wrt and stick that guy between you and the rest of the network that you share.
Then just sign up for a vpn service.
Preferably one that doesn't log, doesn't have any bandwidth restrictions, and supports openvpn. Then just dump the openvpn files in dd wrt.
Everything leaving your network will be secured you'll have a nice little firewall between you and your roommate's.
