What's the max voltage on Corsair Twinx1024-3200xlpt?

Thread Starter
Hey Guys,

Anyone know the max voltage (vdimm) on Corsair Twinx1024-3200xlpt. I am currently running at 2.80 vdimm at 265mhz. Failed Superpi at 2.75 vdimm, and meant to increase to 2.80 vdimm, but accidentally increased to 2.85vdimm. At 2.85, ran Superpi32M until completion with no errors. When I noticed my unintentional overvolt, I decreased vdimm to 2.80, and SuperPi failed near 21st iteration.

Current timings: 265mhz 2.5-4-3-6 1T

Is 2.85 vdimm safe?

What is the maximum vdimm for this ram?

I read in another post on slightly different Corsair ram there is a built in voltage regulator and that, therefore, raising vdimm doesn't help. Is that true?

Any thoughts?

Yep, I wouldn't advise going far above 2.9V, especially if your using it for a long time

I had my XMS4400 Pro kit @ 2.9v for 6 months or more and it caused no problems
